Terma | Before the Night Falls

‘Terma’ is a music
project of Salar Niknafs (electric guitars and pads) and Babak Navak (piano and
keyboards). The duo was originally formed in 2018 and their music is a
combination of ambient soundscapes, free improvisation and melodic experimentalism.
The track "Before the Night Falls" came from an evening of pure improvisation and a running recorder in the background. The recordings were discovered weeks later and it seemed suitable that if there was any merit to these pieces, it was in their own urgency and the raw emotions they evoked. As such it was decided to keep their original form intact, without altering what did not need to be altered.
